WOMEN SNOWBOARDING OLYMPICS

What are the typical ticket prices for a Winter Olympic event?
My plan is to attend the Winter Olympics in 2010. I want to be there for the full two weeks and am saving money to be able to make it. I’ve found plane prices, hotel prices, etc… now I just need to budget for the typical cost of attending events. My desired ones are the Opening Ceremony (I expect over $500) Mens & Women’s Ice Hockey, Snowboarding, Bobsledding, Half-pipe and other skiing events. Any vague ideas on the price of a single ticket to any of the above would be great. Thanks
This information is usually available in Bid Books that become public after they are submitted to IOC. Your best bet is to find those online for the games you want to visit.
However, if you can’t find it, you can look in Bid Books of current Candidates for 2014 Games. These prices won’t differ by very much, and they might be a little higher then 2010 games’ prices due to the inflation. For example here are the price ranges in Sochi’s bid book
Opening and Closing Ceremonies: US$368 to US$1,055
Prime events: US$30 to US$357
Other events: US$22 to US$132

Also, have you considered joining volunteers team? Could be fun and could save a lot of money if you get accepted : )
Best of luck!
