Snowboarding and Fashion?

I’m going snowboarding this winter, but I am in need of a coat and in general winter gear. I need something that will keep me warm but won’t be bulky: should I just get a winter coat or should I just wear a bunch of thinner layers? I want to be able to move!

layers for your upper body
wicking shirt-under armor
fleece – Columbia
then maybe a polyester sweatshirt/another fleece
then a thin outer shell.

you can also get a shell or fleece with those heating pad things those keep you really warm

but the fashion is baggy.
