Now that the Xbox kinect has been around for a while here is a kinect games list in categories of sports, dance action and kinect games for kids.
Kinect Sports Games are pretty extensive to start with; the top kinect game from the initial introduction of kinect games is Kinect Sports, this has a 9.2 rating out of 10. It features soccer, beach volleyball, bowling, table tennis, track and field, and boxing.
EA Active Sports – will give you a total body workout, heart rate monitor that provides constant on-screen monitoring. It gives a workout, and even corrects form when you are off.
You’re Shape and Fitness Evolved- is a revolutionary fitness game for the kinect video game. You’ll control the game with your voice and body as you create your desired fitness experience. Choose a personal trainer to help you meet your specific fitness goals, take a Yoga or Martial Arts class, or play fun, family-friendly mini-games.
Motion Sports – This collection shows off Kinect at its purest, bringing six sports to life right in your living room. Run, jump, duck, dodge, and soar through over 40 challenges that put your physical skills to the test. You’ll dodge defenders and race to the end zone in football, flash fancy footwork in soccer, and work that jab in boxing.
Zumba Fitness: Find your rhythm and let go as Zumba instructors guide you through 30 routines that will work you into a sweat and make you forget you’re even exercising.
Deca Sports Freedom: – Choose from Tennis, Boxing, Figure Skating, Archery, Snowboard Cross, Mogul Skiing, Dodge Ball, Kendo, Beach Volleyball, and Paintball. Swing rackets, spike volleyballs, throw uppercuts, and glide across the ice and much more as you play each game with complete realism.
The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout – The Ultimate Workout offers more than 125 exercise moves focused on upper body, lower body, cardio, yoga, and cardio boxing. Players can select from the exercise moves to create a custom fitness routine or choose from 10 pre-set fitness programs such as Belly Buster and Boot Camp.
There are two dance kinect games and both of them are highly rated, but they both have different types of dance moves and music.
Dance Central - you can expect hot music licenses to provide the background to this full body dancing game. Imagine Dance Dance Revolution, but for your entire body.
Dance Masters-Features 30 tracks with many music classics, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, and Techno, Dance Masters dancers can groove to their favorite songs, creating non-stop set lists. The game also offers three game play modes for the ultimate dance experience: Dance, Lesson, and Status. Players can also compete to determine the ultimate dancer with multiple difficulty levels, from beginners to advanced.
Michael Jackson – The Experience The Experience will be real on February 15th 2011, when this game is releases and it will feature a wealth of unforgettable hits, which the motion capture capabilities of the Kinect system and microphone functionality allow you to dance and sing to, just like Michael did.

Child of Eden – is due to be release March 29 2011, the special effects and spectacular visual effects look amazing in this game. Child of Eden puts you in the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the collection of all human memories. As the project nears conclusion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus.
