how much is my used k2 zeppelin snowboard, burton bindings and burton boots worth?

Looking to sell my used snowboarding equipment. Board is 151 cm and boots are 10.5. All of its in pretty good shape I only used the setup for one year. The equipment is about 5 years old and I haven’t been on it in about 4. How much do you think I can sell the whole set up for? Looking to post an add on craigslist and or ebay but I have no idea what to list is as.. thanks.

try searching e-bay for something like you’re setup to get a good idea on the price range. but in my thinking. try taking the amount you paid for all of it, deduct $50 for any damage or scratches to the bottom of the board. and deduct at least 50% of the overall amount you payed for the setup based on the age and the fact that its used. and that should get you in the ballpark.

Opinions on Salomon boots?

I’m looking to buy new snowboard boots, and was wondering about the quality of Salomon brand boots? I don’t have any experience with this brand, but the fact that they make a lot of ski stuff makes me wonder if their snowboard gear is as good as companies who specialize in snowboarding only. Salomon makes pretty good stuff.
Burton is the big name brand for snowboard gear, but I wore Salomon boots (I think they were Salomon Malamutes) for a few seasons and was very comfortable. The boots held up well and were the perfect stiffness for me.

I would recommend trying that exact model of boot before you buy it though. Buying online is great, but you want to make sure you have the right fit and desired stiffness. And all boots run a little different on size. Also, make sure your boots fit your bindings. I bought Vans boa boots a few years ago and they wouldn’t fit into my Ride bindings.

But there’s nothing wrong with Salomon boots. It’s a quality brand.

the sites boots are up $400 worth of boots , down to $100 .

a quick froogle search and it shows they are about 60 bucks. youve used them 2 times, i would imagine you could get around 40 for them if your lucky. i know thats not the price you want to hear, but boots are hard to resale, i usually just end up donating mine.

Do rental shops have different snowboarding boot sizes for mens and womens?

Okay, I’m trying to find Burton Progression Boots, I like them because you can use them for anything and they are super comfortable. I tried them on at Gunstock and I’m a size eight and I want to know if I’m a size eight in mens (which I kinda doubt) or do they have the same model in a size eight for womens? I can’t find the specific model in womens.

you have to try them on. A size 8 in women’s will be smaller than a size 8 in men’s. Try a smaller size.
