Is my R.E.D. Hi-Fi Audio helmet defective or is there an easy way to fix it?

My R.E.D. Hi-Fi Audio helmet plays music only through the right speaker when the cord is touched, or moved (by the wind, or just from me snowboarding like hitting a bump) and it is either a problem with the cord or the place where you plug the cord it. I was trying to fix it all weekend when I went snowboarding twice. It works if I’m sitting or not moving, but when I start snowboarding, the cord loosens or something and only plays out the left speaker, anybody else had this problem? I was thinking of taping it in a position where it would play clearly but I was wondering if any one else had ideas. Thanks

my skullcandy subwoofer earpads for my red hifi helmet had this problem, Turns out the wires inside were pulling apart, So I just recently sent them in to get them replaced with the warranty.

Skullcandy Headphones for snowboarding?

Okay,
So which skullcandy headphones should i buy for snowboarding?

I have had a pair of Low riders, a pair of Hesh’s, and a pair of G.I.s. Out of those three, I like the Hesh’s the best because they stay on your head really well, the inline volume control is great so you don’t have to take your iPod out of your pocket while you ride, and the extension cord helps a lot in case you sit on the cord or something, it doesn’t get ripped out of your MP3 player, it just disconnects halfway up the cord.

I liked the G.I.s as well, but the part that connects the earpiece to the band is very fragile, and I broke it relatively easily.

It is my opinion that Low Riders are not very good for riding, simply because the first time I rode with them, I fell, and snapped the cord and the headband.

What are the best headphones for snowboarding?

I’ve been rockin’ my ipod headphones that are ear-bud style, and they keep falling out. Generally when I ride don’t wear a beanie so there is nothing to hold them in. So I need something ear-bud that won’t fall out and has good quality audio.

Even though I don’t snowboard, Skullcandy has good quality. I have the Smokin Buds, but they are different style then standard iPod headphones. Mine have a volume control on the wire. Its pretty cool.
