Snowboarding – just do it !!

How can I convince my parents to let me and 3 friends go on a snowboarding trip?

I am a mature responsibly 16 year old. My 2 other friends, are also 16. the 4th friend is John, 18. John drives legally. We are planning on driving from toronto to Mont. St Anne in quebec (about an 850km trip or 1700km round) Money shouldn’t be an issue, because we all have jobs. The only problem is that the parents don’t know the driver very well and they aren’t quite sure if they want to let US go either. Should we pull together a meeting with all the parents and John?
