SNOWBOARDING PANTS SIZING
sizing for men’s ski/snowboarding clothes?
I was wondering would you get the same size ski jacket and ski pants as you would your regular clothes? or are they a little bigger so you would go down a size? This is for men’s clothing. i am going snowboarding with my boyfriend next month and its our first time going so i was wondering what sizes I should get him.
I’ve discovered that it depends on the brand. For instance, I wear XL, but have discovered XXL is more comfortable, for jackets that is, and for pants they are pretty much like jeans…they have slim fit, baggy, loose, amongst other fits. I wear L or XL in pants if they were loose fitting because I have big thighs, but if I were to go with the same size pants in say a Burton which caters to slimmer people, i wouldn’t fit. Pay specific attention to the tag and make sure he tries them on, unless he’s the slim type which is easier to find gear for him to fit. Otherwise, the waist usually is pretty accurate so long as he is of average/slim build.
