SNOWBOARDING NEW ZEALAND NORTH ISLAND

SNOWBOARDING NEW ZEALAND NORTH ISLAND
How much a snow board cost?

Hey, soon I’ll be in New Zealand and would like to go snowboarding in the North Island.
I’ll be looking to buy a snow board. How much a decent snow board should cost?
Im a beginner, I need to buy other equipment too? or just a board? I have no idea.

Well first it depends on new or used. It also depends on the brand as well. Burton, Roxy and K2 will be the most expensive BUT they will also be a very high quality. For the price it also depends on what kind of board you want [freestyle, race, all mountain]. You’ll probably want an all mountain free style board. They generally start around $300 for the good ones. Then you also need to buy bindings which start around $180 and boots which are around $120-160. So total you’re looking at a minimum of around $600 -$620 minimally. Below I attached a link to help you find the perfect fit. But if this is the only time you think you are going to use this…it might just be better to rent it because it’s going to cost money to send it over [even if you check it as one of your bags]
Feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions and have fun on your trip. It sounds like it’s going to be so sick
