SNOWBOARDING INJURIES WRIST

What are some of your broken bone experiences?
Today while snowboarding in Northern Michigan, I broke my wrist. Small fracture, very common snowboarding injury apparently. Basically what happened was I lined up to grind on a small rail and I managed to fall off on the exit. This was one of those rails that drops off for about 3 feet before continuing into an extremely steep incline to the next rail. So I fell off falling backward and when I braced for impact, it didn’t come, I loosened up, bam! Ground shows up. I lay there for about 3 minutes just cradling my wrist trying to decide whether it was broken or not. A nice boy stopped and asked me if I needed a ski patrol member to help and I told him I would be ok. Anyway I worked my way down the mountain and iced the wound before heading to a ready-care where they diagnosed it and confirmed it was broken.
Well that’s my story and I would really like to hear yours!
not broken just hairline fracture on my right middle finger(go figure) the hood of the car fell on it and it was freezing cold out. i screamed to the top of my lungs and the neighbors 1/4 mile away heard me and came and helped lift the hood and get me out
