SNOWBOARDING BASE LAYERS

clothing for snowboarding?
i have a 10k jacket, 5k snow pants. socks. base layer tht wicks away moisture. what should i wear over the base layer and under my shell? or should i not wear anything over the base layer? and what type of gloves? should i get ones that are thinner so i can pick things up or are any waterproof type good?
It depends how insulated your pants/jacket are and how thick your base layer is. Where I ride it’s usually hovering around freezing to -10C and I’ll wear a pair of light fleece pants and medium weight synthetic fibre hoody or fleece jacket over my base layer.
Cotton is not a good idea because when it gets wet it becomes cold and heavy. You’re doing well on your clothing choices so far!
