snowboarding?
are there any indoor snowboard parks in usa preferably in the midwest…. im a real big snowboarder and i need to snowboard NOW! lol
Im not sure if there are any currently at the moment but there are a few being built in New Jersey, Mississippi, Las Vegas and North Carolina. I think most of them will be open sometime in 2008. We have a few of these over in the Uk they tend to consist of three slopes a learner slope, a main slope just for cruiseing on and a small fun park. These type of things can never compete with proper resorts but they are still fun to ride, and as you are riding in such a small area you get to know all the people that go there regularly like you would at a skatepark or something. You get good jam sessions going, loads of people sessioning the rails and kickers they even build a half pipe from time to time.
Another thing that seems to be getting more popular in america are dry slopes and alot of people are starting up their own parks which is a pretty cool idea. At dry slopes again you get like a skatepark type feel most of the jumps and rails are permenant due to the surface of the slope never changing ( unlike on a snow slope ) and you get to know the slope like you would a skatepark if you were skateboarding.
