CHEAP SNOWBOARDING SOCKS
socks for snowboarding- which ones to get?
I am going snowboarding for the first time and i was told its important to wear the right socks. I was looking up snowboarding socks–this may seem a little cheap but i really dont care– i do not feel like paying anything more than $10 for a pair of socks when I don’t even know if i will ever go again,depending on if I like it or not.- and seeing that all of the socks i see are about $15 or more i would like to know what socks i should get.
everyone but Peter is absolutely right…unfortunately Peter has it completely twisted. Snowboarding socks are essential to not only keeping your feet warm but also for proper boot fit. Sure, some cheapo’s out there try to get away using tube socks or doubling up on regular socks but that just creates more problems such as blistering, chafing, and an odd fit. I dont’ know where you;re looking but i’ve bought all 5 pairs of mine for around $5/ pair and if you have time try shopping sierrasnowboards.com they have clearance items, or go to the clearance rack at your local sporting good store. Never skimp out on something designed for your protection and comfort.
