Is a cascade performance shell jacket for snowboarding sufficient?
Hello,
I was just given a Cascade ski jacket for snow boarding. It says it is a gore-tex performance shell and is padded but is not as padded as some other snowboarding jackets I’ve seen.
Will this be sufficient for snowboarding or is it best to invest in a proper snowboarding jacket i.e. Burton? I’m trying not to spend so much as its only my first time ever on the slopes.
If this is sufficient how many layers would I need to wear undernearth this?

go outside wen is cold like midnight and wear nothing on top but the jacket and go outside and stand a while, thats how i test mine….for the padding fall on the lawn and try…
