Tips for a better snowboarding style…clothes wise..?

Yes..I know clothing is not what defines how good you are.
and don’t call me a poser either, because yes, I can handle the black diamond mogul back bowls of vail lol.
Anyway, I feel like everyone on the mountain has a pretty “cool” sense of style I guess you could call it. I feel like I always pick super baggy poofy clothes and look kinda ridiculous.
Anyone wanna pick out an outfit for me? If not, maybe just give me some ideas for what kinds of clothing you guys buy. currently I wear a black burton jacket with brown volcom pants.

First and foremost, invest in something that’s warm and comfortable over anything else. This means buying outwear with high breathability and waterproofing. I actually really like Burton for boarding pants, although I generally don’t like their things at all (it’s mostly overpriced and cheap). I’d also recommend DC, Spyder, and Volcom.

Go with slim fitting clothing, otherwise it just looks horrible and makes you look like a man. I suggest the Burton Chase Pants. I own them in white and they are slim fit, extremely comfy, waterproof, breathable, and highly comfortable! My jacket is a North Face Denali (light blue). It’s warm enough and I wear thermal shirts and leggings underneath of everything so I stay warm. Really, though, if your looking for a good jacket, go with something from DC.

I’m really preppy and anyone who knows me would not think I were a snowboarder, so my style is different than most mountain riders. A lot of them go for vibrant colors and unique patterns. My ex-boyfriend rocked neon green pants, an orange, green, and yellow jacket and it looks sick. He can seriously pull it off, especially with his handkerchief around his face. He looks totally badass, but I definitely couldn’t pull something off like that, so stay true to who your are too.
