BEST SNOWBOARDING PARKS
Best North American Snowboarding Resorts?
How would you rank the following snow resorts for beginner/intermediate snowboarders in terms of cost (coming from Southern California), resort qualilty, and surrounding city.
Park City, Mammoth, Tahoe, Big Bear
Where one seems to lack in one area, it usually picks up in another. How would you rank them? Is there some other ones that I am missing?
You are forgetting the Pacific Northwest.
Whistler, Bachelor, Hood, Baker and more.
But really, as far as beginner and intermediate terrain, any of the big resorts should have more than enough terrain for you.
Mt. Bachelor has Bend (I love that town) and Whistler has Whistler Village. So if you are also looking for a good town vibe as well, I would consider one of those.
If you need somewhere closer to home, I would choose Tahoe for your situation.
