BEST SNOWBOARDING LOCATIONS
Need help deciding which place is best to go snowboarding from my list to at Lake Tahoe….?
I need help deciding which one I want to go to. I have list of these locations so if any one can provide advice on which of these location is best will be appreciated. I’m going with over 10 people. The list is as follow Squa Valley, Sierra,Alpine, Mt. Rose, Homewood, Diamond Peak,
Donner Ski Ranch, Sugarbowl, Boreal, or Soda Spring. Im looking for a nice location where me and my friends will have fun and be able to snowboard.
Squaw is an awesome mountain, but the locals know that the best place for snowboarding is Homewood. It’s much smaller than Squaw, but the views of the lake are the best and the terrains perfect for snowboarders. It’s also one of the cheapest. Mt Rose can be brutal weather-wise. It’s exposed and way high up. Alpine is a great resort – bigger than homewood but not as big as squaw. Dont bother with diamond, soda, donner or boreal – they are too small. Sugarbowl is a lot of fun, but its not as big as alpine and it’s a little out of the way.
First choice – Homewood
Second choice, Alpine Meadows
Third Choice -Squaw (buy they don’t call it squawlywood for nothin – i hate it there!)
