BEST SNOWBOARDING BINDINGS
I need snowboarding help!?
What size board should i choose? And what shape is best? Also what kind of bindings should i get? Basically i have no idea what i’m doing or looking for.
I’m about 120 pounds, 5′ 9″
And i’ve never snowboarded in my life. BUT i heard that its best not to buy a beginners board because you outgrow it so fast..

for starters, i’d seriously recommend renting a board for your first few times, because you may think it looks fun and easy but it takes a lot of work and falls to get to a good standard, and if you don’t like it you’ll have wasted a lot of money. however, if you do wanna buy a board, i’d suggest you by a camber, directional board. you can buy a twin tip if you want but you’ll only feel the benefits of this when you start riding switch and pressing etc. honestly, if you go to a snowboard shop they’ll help you far better than here. oh, and i do suggest a beginners board because you wont outgrow it fast and more advanced boards are specific to certain aspects of riding, eg. street rails, powder etc. good luck.
